The South Beach Triathlon, benefiting Save the Children, is known as one of the nation’s most prestigious races, due to its unique and intense course combined with great perks. The run course runs alongside Miami Beach’s Art Deco District, finishing on the white sands of South Beach. The race features the International Distance, a .93 mile swim, a 24.25 mile bike and a 6.2 mile run; or the Classic Distance features a .5-mile swim, 20.7-mile bike and 4-mile run.
Miami Beach Pride is a weeklong celebration with special events, social mixers, dance events, a VIP gala, an incredible 2-day festival and Parade. Starting at 12pm on April 7, 2019, the length of Ocean Drive along the Art Deco district will be closed to traffic and open wide to our proud South Florida LGBTQ families, our friends, co-workers and allies – along with Pride sponsor organizations, groups and businesses.
The Miami Open presented by Itaú is one of the world’s premier tennis events and features the best players from around the world. A new home at Hard Rock Stadium will offer an elevated fan experience including: expedited parking, 14,000-seat center court, state-of-the-art in-stadium shade canopy and a luxury seating experience, a spacious tennis campus featuring 29 permanent tournament and practice courts, and a comfortable spectator oasis showcasing the culture, food, art, and entertainment of South Florida.
The OUTSHINE Film Festival is critically and internationally acclaimed and serves as a platform for numerous premiers and is the largest LGBT cultural arts event in South Florida. The festival’s mission is to inspire, entertain, and educate; encouraging a sense of community through international and culturally diverse film, video, and other media that offer historical and contemporary perspectives on the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender experience. The Beach Polo World Cup, Miami Beach is a four-day world class event held on the sands of Miami Beach. Throughout the multi-day tournament, six international teams compete for the coveted trophy, and there will also be four women’s teams competing separately. Each day is comprised of high goal polo matches featuring some of the best players in the world on the sand along with a series of offsite events that fuse polo, fashion, and luxury. General admission is offered complimentary to the public while VIP tickets go on sale March 1st which will include shaded lounge areas, full bar, and catering.
